
Okay well, having three active teenage daughters they were always going through scrunchies like they were going out of style, and knowing how I am, I’ve always had an ungodly amount of left over yarn from other finished projects.
Each scrunchie only took me about 10 minutes or less to finish and it was a wonderful dash of color for my teens to enjoy.
MATERIALS:
Tug Free Ponytail Bands
Your choice of Yarn
Hook
TERMS:
Sc = Singe Crochet
Ch = Chain
Sl St = Slip Stitch
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
Fphdc = Front Post Half Double Crochet
Bphdc = Back Post Half Double Crochet
PATTERN:
Row 1: Sc around the ponytail holder until full. Sl st into the 1st sc.
Row 2: Ch 1 – Hdc across the previous round. Sl st into the top of the 1st Hdc.
Row 3: Ch 1 – *Fphdc, Bphdc, Fphdc, Bphdc* continue around until you are at the beginning. Sl st into the top of the 1st hdc and fasten off.
